About the position
As VP of NA Commercial Sales, you will be responsible for setting and executing Showpad's North America commercial sales strategy at a high-performing and exponentially growing company with a strong sales culture.
Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the VP of NA Commercial Sales, is responsible for top-line new logo revenue growth, building strong internal and external relationships, executing on go-to-market strategies for new verticals and services, developing a powerful referral network, and expanding the sales team to meet aggressive company growth goals.
Key responsibilities as a VP of NA Commercial Sales at Showpad
  • Collaborate with the CRO to define the strategy, operational cadence, and execution for the commercial business.
  • Lead commercial bookings for new logo and expansion sales across both Growth and Mid-Market customer segments
  • Directly manage & develop multiple front-line leaders
  • Drive the daily, weekly, monthly operational cadence including forecast, quarterly business reviews, sales team coaching, and win/loss reviews
  • Maintain key customer relationships in order to best develop and implement strategies for sales and customer value
  • Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for sales
  • Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
  • Coordinate the specific objectives of the Commercial sales plan and set/measure the right KPI's with all of the functional departments of the company - Marketing, Product, Professional Services, Customer Success
  • Drive a cross-functional alignment across marketing, customer success, enablement,
  • partnerships, professional services, and rev ops.
  • Be the voice of the Commercial GTM team.
  • Hire and retain the top talent in the industry
  • Travel required as needed

Required skills for a VP of NA Commercial Sales at Showpad
  • Complex SaaS sales leadership and account experience, including a track record of success in new customer and install base sales
  • Experience in managing teams (+15 people) and quota (+ $5M annually)
  • Strong track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining a high performing sales talent
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
  • 8+ years in software and/or applications sales
  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and referenceable customers
  • Proven success working within a matrixed organization and establishing strong relationships across all functions
  • Strong operational and analytical abilities
  • Strategic software sales experience and revenue achievement selling multiple enterprise software offerings
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams to achieve revenue targets
