About 3G Productions
- 3G Productions is a multi-faceted live entertainment production company, headquartered in Las Vegas with substantial operations in Los Angeles. 3G owns high-end professional audio, lighting, and video equipment that it rents out to and operates for concert promotors, bands, live performance venues, casinos, and corporations. Additionally, 3G specializes in project management, design, and installation of professional production equipment for large scale performance venues and sports arenas.
General Tasks/Duties-
- The VP of Operations will serve in the most senior role overseeing all operations at 3G and report directly to the CEO. This position will require a candidate with extensive knowledge in the production industry, specifically rental of professional audio, lighting, and video equipment. Further, the candidate will need to have 10+ years of experience managing people in the production industry, and be well versed in technology and overall communication. Below is a general list of the tasks and duties assigned to this position:
- Oversee operations in both Los Angeles & Las Vegas warehouses, which includes logistics, warehouse management, and asset management
- Conduct regularly scheduled operational meetings to identify and improve systemic issues and prepare appropriately for upcoming shows.
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with engineers, warehouse techs and sales to ascertain field issues and manage improvements as necessary
- Enforce standardization and continuity between warehouse operations
- Regularly evaluate equipment needs, document, and present a purchase plan to executive management team
- Regularly review sub-rentals with logistics manager to determine when purchases of equipment is appropriate
- Regularly review shop personnel with each warehouse manager?
- Analyze current operational processes and procedures, and develop improvements or changes as needed to improve efficiency
- Evaluate current engineering staff and make recommendations to executive management on hiring decisions
- Be present on regular basis in both warehouses and on show site to establish leadership role within the company
Requirements
Minimum Requirements-
- College Degree
- 15 years in production industry and 10 years managing people
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Working knowledge of Flex Rental Software preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of Lighting, Audio, Video Equipment
