VP of Product

Series Entertainment is seeking a VP of Product to help us innovate on building the future of GaaS & live ops technology.

As the VP of Product, you know how games are built, launched, grown and operated – on mobile, PC, console, or beyond. You’ve been an entrepreneur yourself, and appreciate being thrown into any challenge that comes your way – whether it’s helping to steer a team in a new direction, building out a comprehensive data-backed product strategy towards a clear win condition, or going hard on your own to solve hard yet-to-be-solved technical or production problems.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the Chief of Games to drive the most strategically important studio initiatives to success

• Blast through walls

  • Spearhead the development of innovative 0-to-1 products that disrupt and redefine gaming experiences in the industry

  • Enhance user acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies with dynamically personalized GaaS systems

• Develop our talent

  • Cultivate a high-performing product team by providing mentorship, guidance, and strategic direction

• Guide us towards profitability

  • Manage P&Ls across multiple studios, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost efficiency

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior product leadership role within the gaming industry, overseeing product development across multiple platforms at significant scale

• Comprehensive knowledge of the gaming market and upcoming innovations in the space

• Expert in data systems, KPIs & product management tools and techniques

• Interest in generative AI

• 5+ years of experience managing P&Ls for fairly complex organizations

• 5+ years of technical experience building games and/or software products is a plus

• Experience in game design is a plus

• Experience in UA or brand marketing is a plus

• Experience working in cutting edge, fast-paced, startup environments is a plus

• Experience with Python is a plus

• Experience with Unity or React is a plus
