Position Overview

Idea Evolver is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Vice President of Product Management to join our Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) team. This position will manage a team of Product/Project Managers, Systems Engineers, Product Designers and Business Analysts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in leading and managing a team, as well as a deep understanding of software development and client management. In this role, the Vice President of Product Management will include the following responsibilities:

• Develop and articulate a clear product strategy and vision, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
• Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends and translate insights into actionable strategies for growth, expansion, and the creation of new product offerings.
• Partner with the executive leadership team to execute on new growth markets and products, helping to drive the company's overall business strategy.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and market launches.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices and product regulations, and apply relevant learnings to enhance product strategy and roadmap.
• Promote a deep understanding of customer needs and user-centric design principles to ensure product quality, user experience, and performance meet or exceed industry standards.
• Foster the growth and expansion of the team, building strong development plans and providing exposure opportunities for team members to excel and advance in their careers.
• Work with the product management team to create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, outlining product features, enhancements, and releases and prioritize initiatives based on market trends, customer feedback, and business needs.
• Implement system to measure and track product performance and make necessary adjustments to the product strategy and roadmap as needed.
• Oversee product budgets and financial performance, ensuring profitability and effective resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 10+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 5 in a management capacity
• Proven track record of success in leading and managing a Product team
• Deep understanding of software development processes
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
