Job Overview
Right Networks is seeking a VP, Product Marketing to manage the launch of new products and services into the market, enable the sales and partner facing teams, and to oversee the growth plans for the company’s overall product portfolio. The Product Marketing group is responsible for end-to-end new product go-to-market planning and execution, positioning, packaging and pricing of Right Networks products and for developing a differentiated narrative around Right Network’s solutions. Reporting to the CMO, the VP, Product Marketing will play a major leadership role within the company to identify strategic market opportunities, leveraging knowledge of the market and competitive landscape, as well as intimate understanding of buyers’ pain points and journey.
This is a hybrid role in our Hudson, NH office, with the ability to work remotely 2-3 days a week and from the office 2-3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification of growth opportunities for the Right Networks product portfolio defining our target audiences and ideal customer profiles – what they care about and what drives them to buy and renew.
- You will define go-to-market strategies, working closely with senior leadership across the company.
- Develop effective and differentiated product positioning and messaging to explain the Right Networks value proposition across our products, services and platform that resonates with our key audiences and personas.
- Lead efforts around packaging and pricing of products across the company’s portfolio and new offerings.
- Oversee and provide direction for research, analysis and documentation of market requirements, including trends, economic factors and the competitive landscape.
- Partner with Product Management teams, Business Unit leaders, other Marketing functions and Sales to design the strategies, tactics and resource alignment necessary to achieve corporate objectives.
- Partner with Corporate Communications to help elevate thought leadership and storytelling to maintain Right Network’s leadership market position externally to customers, partners, analysts and the media.
- Work to design the content architecture for products including supporting creation of effective content for the company’s website, demand generation campaigns and sales enablement tools collaborating with Creative Services, Demand Generation and Sales teams.
- Work closely with sales, business development and partner marketing to create, train and equip customer and partner facing teams with tools and content they need to effectively sell.
- Support launch planning for new products and collaborate cross functionally with product management and other marketing teams and sales to drive business performance.
- Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to the Product Marketing team members.
- Manage the hiring, development and retention of product marketing talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, technology or business, MBA preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in product marketing including go-to-market strategy formulation and execution.
- Exceptional organization, time-management and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and meet deadlines.
- Effective at interacting with a wide range of audiences, including the executive level, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communications abilities.
- Proven success in launching and growing market leading SaaS based technology and software products in hypergrowth B2B environments.
- Effective problem solver with strong business acumen, and creativity.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high volume of strategic work as well as deliver excellent execution while being accurate and paying attention to details.
- Highly motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic and hands-on leader with experience building and guiding a distributed team.
- Data driven with strong analytical skills focused on critical product KPI’s.
- Ability to develop modern and differentiated product positioning, messaging and stories, (experience in the accounting industry a plus.).
- Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC and Social Security verification.
