We are seeking a VP of Product Marketing to lead our product marketing function and drive the growth of our business at Accrete AI. As the VP of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing product marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive demand, and generate revenue. You will work closely with the executive team, product management, sales, and marketing to develop messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies that differentiate our products in a competitive landscape. Strong preference for candidates with experience in working with public sector clients.

This position will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.

Accrete is an AI prime defense contractor with the U.S. government that creates AI software, enabling its customers to make better decisions, faster. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of product marketing strategies that support the growth of our business.
  • Develop and communicate a deep understanding of the market, including customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors.
  • Lead the development of product positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers and differentiates our products in the market.
  • Create go-to-market strategies for new products and features, including launch plans, messaging, and content.
  • Manage product launches together with cross-functional teams to ensure they are successful.
  • Collaborate with product management to define product features and benefits that align with market needs and customer preferences.
  • Analyze and report on product performance including data on customer usage, market trends, and competitive activity to inform product development decisions and drive growth.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviors.
  • Develop marketing collateral, including sales decks, data sheets, case studies, and white papers.
  • Work closely with sales to enable them to effectively sell our products and services through the creation of sales tools, scripts, training materials, product demos, and other resources.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including product management, sales, and customer success.
  • Manage and lead the product marketing team providing feedback, coaching, and creating development plans to help team members grow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Strong understanding of B2B technology products and markets. An understanding of AI technologies is preferred.
  • Strategic thinker able to develop long-term plans that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Creative thinker able to develop innovative marketing campaigns that sound out in a crowded market.
  • Customer-first mentality ensuring we understand and meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The base salary range for this position is: $180,000 - $200,000 USD
