VP of Product Marketing and Brand Management

As the VP of Product Marketing and Brand Management, you will lead product marketing and brand strategy across the entire, newly combined organization and its family of brands.
As the VP of Product Marketing and Brand Management at AffiniPay, you will have the opportunity to work with products that are already leaders in the profession and have a unique advantage against their competitors. You will be responsible for building the brand strategy across all verticals and products to establish the company as a critical partner for these businesses and a leading innovator in the legal tech industry. You will be responsible for how we tell our story across channels, and driving awareness and brand love in the market.
Your day to day:
Brand Marketing
- Assist the Brand Management team in planning, strategizing and executing marketing campaigns and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market for our unique set of offerings
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams - from creative and marketing operations to product and demand generation - to produce effective promotional materials
- Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development
- Oversee advertising and multimedia planning
- Coordinate activities of specialists involved in the brand positioning of the products
- Help to develop sales tools and collateral
Product Marketing
- Define high level product marketing strategies
- Work with Product Management to research and determine product weaknesses and areas to be improved
- Drive revenue and performance, focused on segment-level market/product gaps
- Define a go-to-market launch strategy for new features and initiatives
- Own customer research and be a champion for the voice of the customer
Activation Marketing
- Drive transformational brand solution sales through leveraging and developing relevant content and competition.
- Develop, leverage and deploy regional and local Brand solutions to upscale sales teams to approach clients with multi-faceted media propositions.
- Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new content and marketing engagements.
- Identify opportunities for campaigns that will lead to an increase in sales.
Communication Marketing
- Creating and implementing plans to increase market share
- Commissioning or conducting market research
- Overseeing market data analysis and evaluation
- Developing pricing and budgeting strategies
- Coordinating with and managing agency partners
- Creating marketing presentations for stakeholders
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years of experience in brand/product marketing
- Deep expertise in brand strategy and positioning
- Experience developing integrated campaigns across multiple channels
- Experience working closely with agencies on creative development
- Excellent strategic positioning skills and ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way
- Experience building and developing a team
