Job Description

The VP of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue for our mid-market and enterprise clients. This individual will work closely with the leadership team to align sales efforts with the overall business goals and objectives and will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the sales team, including setting targets, providing coaching and mentorship, and ensuring that team members have the necessary resources and support to be successful
  • Work along side leadership to build out the sales team.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and increase market share
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align sales efforts with the overall business goals and objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, including identifying new business opportunities and managing the sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform sales strategy and product development
  • Oversee the development and management of sales budgets and forecasting
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to measure the effectiveness of sales efforts and identify areas for improvement

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably within the ecommerce or digital agency industry
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and close deals
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement sales plans that align with business goals and objectives
  • Experience with CRM systems and data analysis tools
