Job Description

Greenbox Capital is seeking an experienced Sales leader with a hunter mindset to join our entrepreneurial team to focus on new business development and growing a sales team. The Director of Sales is a direct contributor role that will be responsible for developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans with a focus on digital transformation services and team leadership. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, hard-working, and thrives in a fast-paced, self-directed environment. The ideal candidate is highly effective at dealing with many personalities and various constraints of a "scale up" organization. This individual has been a part of a sales team that scaled to 9 figures in revenue. This individual would manage and lead the sales team and sales objectives within the organization using strategic planning to meet sales targets and developing and cultivating relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across all channels (Direct, Partner, Strategic Partnership, and Retention), aligned with our company's growth objectives.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing them with the tools, guidance, and motivation they need to succeed.
  • Researching the market and competitors
  • Monitor sales performance against targets, making adjustments to strategies and processes, as necessary.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Technology, and Operations to ensure alignment of sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and identify new potential relationships to grow our Partner Channels.
  • Manage the budget and financial aspects of the sales department, ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Similar Industry Experience (Insurance, lending, etc.)
  • Market Understanding
  • 10 years of Consumer Sales Experience
  • 5 years Leadership (people management) experience
  • Has been on a multi-channel sales team that has scaled a company from 8 to mid-9 figures, or more, to lead the company to an exit.
