We are seeking a VP of Sales Operations to join our team.
Job Summary
Imprivata is seeking VP of Sales Operations to help lead the company through its next phase of growth. As a key partner to the CFO, Chris Sullivan, the VP of Sales Operations will be an integral member of the senior leadership team. S/he must be a cultural complement, as well as a trusted advisor to the sales leadership team.
S/he will be responsible for operational excellence within the sales team, sales strategy, sales enablement, forecasting, SFDC discipline, QBRs, Deal Desk, and integrating acquisitions.
VP of Sales Operations Requirements:
- Experienced at driving operational excellence in all aspects of sales and demand generation
- History of aligning a sales team on forecasting, SFDC discipline, pipeline management, and QBRs
- Experience analyzing customer segmentation, TAM, and aligning to sales targets and capacity models
- Private equity and/or public company experience
- Deep knowledge of scaling and integrating teams
- Managed initiatives cross functionally with other members of the SLT, ELT, and Board
- Experience selecting and successfully rolling out a technology stack to support a modern sales team
- History of creating and working within budgets and strategic plans
- Deep experience implementing and management of compensation models Experience working with a global team and customers
- Well versed in integration acquisitions that align to the investment thesis
- Experience setting up and supporting a renewals program: targets, renewal rates, net/gross retention
The VP of Sales Operations will have a track record of leading strategic sales teams. The role requires extensive analytical experience enabling sales teams to improve. Proven ability to drive all sales efforts including, rollout of market and customer segmentation, buyer personas, pricing, compensation, recruitment, training, and retention.

- Experience developing and implementing successful processes for customer acquisition and further market penetration
- Experience developing a sales enablement process that effectively equips the team for success
- Metrics-Driven Management Style
- Experience structuring, tracking, and improving KPIs and metrics
- Experience establishing quotas, budgets, sales compensation plans, pricing optimization, and process for regular reporting cadence
- Experience leveraging data and analytics to effectively monitor sales pipeline and effectiveness of individual reps
- Outstanding Communication and Leadership Skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to articulate a clear vision to the team
- Open, engaging, action-oriented leader who inspires and holds others accountable
- Executive presence with regular interaction with other members of the SLT, ELT and board of directors
- History of building effective and strong internal partnership
- High energy, driven, and confident with high EQ
- Thrives in fast-paced and rapidly changing environments
- Ideally, Lexington, MA, but open to a remote/commuting candidate
