Position Summary
In this business-critical marketing role, you will have the opportunity to build winning marketing strategies for Enfusion’s innovative and market-leading products and services for investment managers around the globe. Responsible for mapping out, implementing, and measuring the performance of our GTM strategy you’ll develop segment, persona and region-specific marketing and communication plans drawing from your deep understanding of the pain points and needs of investment managers as well as investment management technology. Â
In this role you will work with a team of regional and segment-specific product marketers focused on sales enablement as well as high ROI segment and regional demand generation and opportunity acceleration programs. You will work closely with the CMO and Head of Product Management and report to the Head of Growth Marketing who is responsible for orchestrating our GTM across strategy and demand generation. You will be responsible for achieving marketing-sourced pipeline, bookings and pipeline velocity targets for each segment and region.
You will interact with clients, analysts and influencers to generate insights into our market and drive thought leadership. You’ll also work closely with our sales and product teams to create messaging that resonates with customers and prospects at all stages of the buyer journey. Additionally, you will partner with our product management team to roll out and drive adoption of new features and capabilities. Lastly, you’ll work closely with our demand generation team to execute revenue-focused campaigns for our brand.
In the role of Strategic Marketing Director, you will be the bridge between our products and services and the people who use them. You’ll lead teams of functional, segment and region-specific marketing managers and associates who may be assigned to help execute your various programs. You’ll partner closely with our Head of Growth Marketing to define our TAM and ICP and own the plan to engage and increase market share.
You’ll work within a marketing and communications team that includes specialists in Demand Generation, Communications, Content, PR, Events and more, to make our vision a reality. In close partnership with Product and Strategy, you’ll define and implement our go-to-market and expansion strategies across product, services, segments and regions. Your goal is to build a strong cadence of clear communication with our core constituents to keep them informed and excited about our products, while continuously expanding our reach and driving lead acquisition.
What You’ll Do
- Define Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and own the plan to engage
- Own meeting KPIs for marketing-sourced pipeline and bookings for each segment and region
- Engage with clients and influencers to generate customer insights and be the face and voice of Enfusion at client and industry events and forums.
- Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.Â
- Influence product roadmap and help prioritize expansion into new sub-segments and geographies.
- Partner with Sales Leaders and Product Management to define the strategic positioning platform for each Investment Management segment and model our growth targets and metrics.
- Develop buyer’s journey maps, value propositions and messaging, cross-channel marketing campaigns, and content to drive tangible business results.
- Deliver incisive marketing programs for increased uptake, market share and profitability through lead generation, upsell and cross-sell strategies.
- In partnership with key stakeholders, develop the global roadmap for the evolution of the positioning platform and the key strategic elements that must be considered to grow these segments.
- Drive the development of global marketing strategies and programs for each segment and region.
- Develop the sales enablement and product marketing tools needed (brochures, presentations, pitches, talking points, case studies, testimonials, ebooks and more) for success of the Revenue and Account Management teams ensuring content is current across all digital channels.
- Develop product launch strategies which resonate with our target audience, educate, and generate interest; develop nurture strategies and programs to turn interest into action.
- Collaborate with our channel and alliance team and lead the charge to leverage our partner relationships to generate leads and increase awareness within the segment. Organize analyst (and other influencer) briefings and/or implement ongoing engagement programs to keep them apprised of our value prop and progress within the segment.
Required skills and experience
- Strategic marketer with 15+ years of integrated marketing experience, specifically within financial services, ideally marketing fintech and related services to asset managers.
- 3-5+ years’ experience leading teams located across the globe who may or may not be direct reports.
- Proficiency in developing thought leadership narratives and evangelizing unique points of view to the market.
- Deep understanding of the personas/roles across the investment management front-to-back-office operational ecosystem/value chain.
- Global marketing and strategy experience required, including UK, EMEA and APAC.
- Demonstrable experience building, executing and measuring global, regional and segment marketing and communications plans as well as managing associated budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and synthesize complex concepts into simple, powerful and engaging positioning and messaging - you’ll manage everything from product launches to content development.
- Proven experience developing and distilling market research via qualitative and quantitative methods and proficient analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics.
- A true digital and social marketing master, constantly seeking to understand how new platforms and experiences can be used to create effective and disruptive global marketing programs.
- Understands design thinking and has a deep understanding and appreciation for the human and emotional elements of a marketing strategy and brings this approach to developing and executing marketing programs.
- Independent thinker with high EQ and a bias to execution speed, while never losing sight of the customer.
- Ability to give concise, compelling verbal presentations to senior decision-makers, and to respond quickly and thoughtfully to challenges and pushback in a meeting.Â
- Ability to handle significant workload with strong project management skills to meet aggressive deadlines.Â
