Position Summary
The VP of Supply Chain will be responsible for all aspects of Antora’s interface with suppliers and service providers, managing an annualized spend of $100M in 2025, and rapidly growing to >$1B in the following years. This individual will not only be accountable for all aspects of cost, delivery, and quality of purchased goods and services, but will also interface with customers and investors, explaining sourcing strategies, cost roadmaps, risk management strategies, and regional sourcing choices.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build a world-class Supply Chain team supporting a rapid ramp of Antora’s launch product, delivering lowest total cost while hitting benchmarks for quality and delivery, as well as flexibility to scale to meet demand variations. This team will be tasked with:
- Managing materials resource planning (MRP) to ensure that supply of components meets demand from in-house manufacturing, plant construction, and service teams.
- Building out inventory management and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems including shipping and receiving.
- Executing full lifecycle supply plans with impeccable attention to detail, from ensuring purchase order placement to actual on-time-delivery.
- Negotiating strategic supply deals to secure best-in-class pricing, supply, and terms and conditions for key components.
- Owning supplier management processes, including executive relationships, business reviews, supplier code of conduct, and policies.
- Owning Antora’s supplier database, including integration into various platforms (ERP, PLM, etc).
- Negotiating payment terms and Vendor Managed Inventory agreements with suppliers to optimize for Antora’s business priorities.
- Negotiate and manage all supplier contracts (Master Supply Agreements, Statements of Works, Development Agreements etc).
- Partner with our Product Development and Technology teams to leverage supplier capabilities and drive Design for Manufacturing and Design for Cost initiatives. Drive make-vs-buy and vertical integration discussions for strategic components, equipment and manufacturing steps.
- Collaborate with future Manufacturing, Quality, and Field Operations teams to develop and execute a comprehensive inventory strategy to meet volume, cost, and quality requirements for production and service parts in compliance with customer commitments.
- Interface with investors and customers to communicate roadmaps for cost and supply.
Key Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of experience in supply chain, including 10+ years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience managing diverse spend >$100M/yr.
- Prior experience managing supply chain teams.
- Diverse background sourcing a wide variety of commodities.
- International sourcing experience.
- Startup experience, building large supply chain teams from scratch, rapid volume ramps.
Additional Qualifications Desired
- Experience with supply chain management for high-temperature systems and related components, for example in solar, oil and gas, or automotive industries.
- Knowledge of the regulatory environment including understanding import/export laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards for components.
- Experience with industrial equipment and plants is a plus.
Salary Range: $200,000 USD - $250,000 USD
Salary Basis: Annual

The actual salary offered will be determined within the posted range based on a candidate's experience, credentials, and expertise as they pertain to the requirements of the position.
