Job Description
The Vice President of Supply Chain Operations focuses on end to end supply chain, from demand planning to final delivery to the end consumer. Included but not limited to: demand planning, supply planning, supplier management, ocean transportation, distribution & fulfillment, and final mile home delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities:

- Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, the VP of Supply Chain Operations will play a key role in the transformation of the company’s global supply chain performance, process, and capabilities.
- Responsible for developing and executing a supply chain vision and strategy.
- This strategy will encompass best practices across the demand and supply planning operations on a global scale, with a primary focus on exceeding customer service levels.
- Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and building collaboration among key stakeholders to drive consensus and informed decisions.
- Drive improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the capabilities, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and responsiveness of the Supply Chain department.
- Develop and execute demand forecasting strategies and processes to accurately predict product demand, optimize finished good, inventory levels, and minimize stock-outs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate demand planning, inventory control, and replenishment strategies, taking into account varying market challenges.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sourcing, Quality, Sales, and Operations to deliver required service levels, targeted inventory levels, and other key operational objectives.
- Develop and maintain robust analytical models and tools to analyze global supply chain data, identify trends, and provide actionable solutions.
- Design and implement a robust KPI framework.
- Regularly review and assess ongoing performance metrics against targeted objectives, taking proactive measures as necessary to ensure department and organizational goals are achieved.
- Develop and maintain professional and dependable relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Provide mentorship to other people managers under their responsibility.
Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Materials Management, Operations or similar field.
- 15+ years of experience in supply chain planning & analysis, logistics, forecasting, operations, manufacturing, and supply management.
- Understanding of the role of supply chain in complex environments, preferably in consumer products manufacturing environments.
- Extensive exposure to working across an international supply chain that includes Asia based manufacturing locations.
- Strong financial acumen.
- Excellent Negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across the organization at all levels.
- Excellent time management/organizational skills.
- Strategic/Critical Thinking.
- Ability to find win-win solutions; a “make it happen” attitude.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in the following: Material Planning, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management, Capacity Planning, Production Planning and inbound logistics.
- Experience supplier performance & relationship management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Power BI).
- Proficient at creating presentation materials and presentation delivery to leadership team, production team, and customers.

Must have the ability to quickly assimilate into the culture of the Company and work effectively as a business partner with the entire senior management team, especially to the COO, CFO and CEO He/She must be collaborative and hands-on; encourages cross-functional cooperation and builds strong working relationships between the Supply Chain and operating teams. He/She Must be forward thinking and open and receptive to new ideas. He/She is someone who thrives in an environment of entrepreneurism and continuous improvement.
 - Driving Results. A broad and well-rounded business executive with strong international Supply Chain leadership experience, equally capable on both strategic and operational levels. Track record of executing on business strategy as both a Supply Chain business partner and member of the senior leadership team. The VP, Supply Chain Operations must excel in driving business performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs) that are clearly aligned with the strategy and objectives of the company. The VP, Supply Chain Operations must be a decisive leader and have the ability to prioritize effectively and focus on the most relevant issues.
 - Commercial Orientation. The VP, Supply Chain Operations will be commercially minded and effective working both at strategic and tactical levels. He/She should demonstrate comfort in identifying and analyzing data, trends and business plans to advance the company’s goals and strategies, including business partnerships, vendor relationships product management and service agreements.
 - Strong Business Acumen. The candidate must understand the levers on both the operational (strong detail orientation) and customer / commercial side of the business. He/She must have a track record of having outstanding and effective relationships with business leaders across the enterprise with strong credibility both internally and externally.
 - Excellent Communication Skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ideal candidate will possess the ability to present his/her ideas in a clear, concise, and compelling fashion to their direct reports, COO and executive leadership team.
