This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing the Paid Search discipline, responsible for shaping strategy, driving innovation, and maximizing business results across multiple teams. The role combines strategic vision with operational rigor, ensuring consistent execution, team growth, and client success. You will lead and mentor a large team, define full-funnel search strategies, and implement advanced ad tech and AI-driven solutions. Accountabilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 90+ paid search professionals, ensuring alignment with agency goals and personal development.Define and execute holistic, full-funnel paid search strategies across platforms, including Google and Microsoft, for diverse clients and verticals.Manage departmental P&L, resource allocation, and talent utilization to meet operational and margin objectives.Drive adoption of ad tech, generative/agentic AI, and workflow optimization tools to enhance performance and efficiency.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and product teams to ensure strategic alignment and measurable results.Represent the agency externally at panels, masterclasses, webinars, and industry events to share expertise and thought leadership.Monitor media performance, conduct data analysis, and implement optimization strategies for campaigns across client portfolios.
Requirements:
12+ years of experience in digital media strategy, with deep expertise in Paid Search, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads.6+ years of leadership experience, managing large teams and fostering talent development.Proven ability to scale paid search campaigns across e-commerce, lead generation, and other verticals, managing nine-figure budgets.Strong analytical skills, including campaign performance analysis, A/B testing, and identifying actionable insights from large datasets.Expertise in media planning, performance optimization, and full-funnel digital marketing strategy.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; active paid media certifications or a Master’s degree are a plus.Demonstrated success in new business pitches, strategic planning, and agency leadership.
