The Vice President Partner Management and Engagement primary role is to build the Channels/BSP/ISV enablement program, support the growth of partner sales and develop partner support and enablement team. It will be necessary to develop executive relationships and foster collective new business development with channels broadly and ISV's in particular. This role is responsible for managing the recruitment of new partners, developing partner expertise in SS&C Blue Prism, assessing, and designing partner programs that growth both SS&C Blue Prism's customer impact and partner sales, managing a team of Partner Managers that support the success of our partner community enabling partners to sell and deliver independently and creating a pipeline of new business opportunities. As primary owner for the Channels/BSP/ISV's Program together with the SVP of Alliances and Partners for the Americas you will set the strategy, investments and actions that will drive incremental revenue growth for Blue Prism via Channels/BSP/ISV's.
This Role is primarily remote. Normal working hours are US Eastern Time
Responsibilities
- Build and drive a joint strategy and business plan for Americas Channels/ISV's that includes clearly defined go-to-market initiatives with key sponsors at Blue Prism. Quarterly reviews of the plan with milestone metrics and progress tracking;
- Establish and execute sales and technical governance models to maintain leadership input and alignment;
- Build partner enablement programs, lead workshops and assess partner's expertise helping them stay relevant of SS&C Blue Prism technology and offerings, support joint solutions and hold partners accountable to objectives.
- Execute and manage overall partner sales and marketing programs;
- Build and manage sales pipeline with the Channels/BSPs/ISV's team to deliver accurate forecasting;
- Develop and maintain strong and trusted relationship with the Blue Prism end-user sales organization;
- Be key source of insight into Partner landscape / strategy / news;
- Continuously qualify the landscape of each major competitor's relationship with Partners and develop plan to increase the Blue Prism share.
Requirements
- Must have at least 10+ years of experience in alliance management, sales or business development roles in enterprise software vendors or managed service providers;
- Experience working in the software market, including solid understanding of supply chain software;
- Be comfortable developing executive-level sponsors within partnerships;
- Be well accepted by field sales teams as adding value around the partnership;
- Strong project and program management skills including design and execution on global or regional business plans;
- Understanding of market issues and trends impacting the Enterprise RPA market;
- Strategic thinker;
- A self-starter needing minimal management oversight to perform day to day responsibilities;
- Assertive - strong negotiation skills to work with sales and partner peers;
- Cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management skills toward a broad constituency ranging from partners, customers, sales, functional and technical management;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with executive presence;
- Strong result / goal-orientation;
- This job requires international travel up to 10% of the time;
