As a growth-mode marketing technology company, that’s looking for a high-impact leader who will own the Human Resources and Talent strategies linked to our business strategy. 

Who you are:

The ideal candidate should have experience leading a team and operationalizing people-related functions to support company scale and growth. You should have a proven track record with fast-paced technology organizations and be able to function as a strategic business partner to key executives and senior leaders. As a creative problem solver, you should be able to navigate current challenges while strategically planning for periods of hypergrowth in an ever-evolving environment. You must know how to drive outcomes and change even without direct authority, and have proven success as an executive leading a People function at a high-growth technology company or a high-growth division within a larger company. While martech/adtech experience is preferred, an understanding of the nuances of a consumer-facing technology company is a must.

What you will do:

  • Culture & Values - 
    • Partner with senior leadership to strengthen a positive, engaged culture that recognizes the contributions of all employees in a high-growth environment.
    • Define ways to identify and reinforce the behaviors that exemplify company value and strive to advance people and implement organizational strategies to shape a culture that everyone can be proud of and simultaneously drives performance.
  • Talent Acquisition & Strategy - 
    • Lead and support a comprehensive talent acquisition process to attract, develop, retain, and engage a workforce that seeks excellence, takes ownership, and values accountability.
    • Drive organizational landscape changes that will help us grow and motivate our teams to realize their full potential.
  • Performance Management - 
    • Establish organizational performance management programs that align with the values and mission of the company. Coach management to set clear, meaningful goals, and objectives and use metrics to measure performance. 
    • Manage and develop our HRBP and Talent Manager while determining the big picture goals for our People + Culture department. 
  • Total Rewards - 
    • ​​Develop and lead a best-in-class total rewards program. Continuously evaluate the market to maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs. Provide leadership around the creation and implementation of a performance-based compensation program. Oversee and execute initiatives around employee engagement, experiences and belonging. Experience driving these initiatives in a fully distributed or remote workforce, a plus. Experience designing pay transparency initiatives using Carta Total Comp, or similar compensation tool.
  • HR Systems & Compliance - 
    • Evaluate HR technology, including HRIS, Benefits, Performance and more, to meet current and future prospective business objectives. Review PEO relationships in conjunction with next-level compliance, legal, and operational fit and have knowledge of regulations and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Oversee all company communications for HR-specific initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Creator of award-winning culture that maximizes people’s potential, performance, and progress
  • Experience in successfully growing teams from 50 to 500 people
  • Experience in a software/technology-focused organization is required 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, human resources or a related field. Master’s degree in business or human resources strongly preferred. SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, and/or PHR certification also preferred
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in human resources as a high performer, including HR leadership and people management. Solid experience with mergers & acquisitions strongly preferred, coupled with experience in a growth equity phase
