Quick take: We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition leader to join our team to lead HQ’s growth across the coming years. 

Why it matters: Our Talent Acquisition leader impacts every corner of our company. By partnering with our executives, and senior-level leadership, you’ll be one of the most impactful people at our company. You’ll work to lead our exceptional talent acquisition team by steering all hiring at HQ - from strategic planning to oversight of the day-to-day operations of this team.

The details: In this role, you’ll be the face of our company, and your spirit, values, ideas, and energy will impact and shape how people view and experience Axios as an employer. As such, ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for Axios HQ’s mission and have the following skills and experiences:

  • Passion for and experience in people management and mentorship: desire to motivate, support and lead a team of exceptional people 
  • Deep understanding of recruiting best practices, processes and data 
  • Experience at high-growth, dynamic organizations (preferably technology companies) 
  • Solutions-oriented mindset and proactive attitude
  • Passion for building diverse teams, recognizing the collective power of teams whose members bring different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to the table
  • Strong sense of client management/ client-services approach 
  • Passion for effective collaboration and strong team-first attitude 
  • Willingness to act as a player/coach at an early-stage start-up
