VP, Product Management Crypto / Blockchain

Summary:

The VP for Crypto / Blockchain product management will be responsible for leading the development of the Crypto, Blockchain and CBDC strategy, managing product lifecycles and partnering with our market development team to expand the set of solutions available in the Latin America region to capture new revenue opportunities in the blockchain space by focusing on customer banks, crypto wallets, merchants, Fintech, crypto exchanges, and infrastructure providers.

Overview
• The VP, Crypto / Blockchain products is a key member of the LAC Regional Product Management team within Core Products
• Help lead the development of the strategy, tactics, and execution plans of crypto / blockchain and CBDC products
• Manage product lifecycle and product line strategy in alignment with Global
• Help on identifying opportunities with bank customers, Fintech, Exchanges, Wallet providers, Merchants, and other key infrastructure players
• Be up to date with trends across the region
• Serve as thought leader both for internal and external customers
• Work closely with business and external stakeholders to ensure effective two-way communications regarding collection of business requirements and communication of key product decisions, plans, and releases
• Develop go to market strategy in alignment with markets / divisions

All about You
• Strong understanding of Crypto and blockchain technology and ecosystems and the ability to translate those needs into business and product requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with previous experience in a customer-facing role interfacing with mid to senior level executives
• Ability to influence external customers and internal business partners, at all levels, and drive towards results, without direct management authority
• Analytical, solutions-oriented skillset with the ability to drive thought leadership in the Blockchain payments space
• Keen understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends, and the ability to translate that understanding into meaningful action and enhancements
• Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing conditions and priorities is critical to success
• Knowledge and skills using product management tools, e.g. market and product plans, project timelines, marketing research, product validity and financial models, capital budgeting, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in business or relevant experience, MBA preferred
