VP, Product Owner API & Data Integration (Hybrid - Flexible Options)

We are hiring a VP, Product Owner, API & Data Integration to join our Digital Enablement Team. In this role you will be responsible for creating and executing the API and Data Integration strategy and product roadmap in support of our next generation wealth platform. Data and integration capabilities are key to the overall success of our wealth business. As a team lead, you will create, influence, align and execute collaborative product strategies (e.g., API-led connectivity approach, predictive analytics, insights, etc) across our eco system in support of our strategy while driving new revenue. You will partner with Head of Innovation, Strategic Integration, and our Workstation SMEs to develop an integration approach, strategy and roadmaps and collaborate with technology, infrastructure, finance, marketing, digital operations to execute on plan. Key to this strategy will be the opportunity to leverage Broadridge investments, best practices and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Understanding the importance of data in relationship to creating new products and services while focused on data protection, ownership and monetization approaches
• Understanding the related marketplace, the product or product line, competitors (traditional & nontraditional), gathering voice of the client / prospects to ensure functional competitiveness and 'being innovative' to transform our industry and product offering
• Creating, executing and maintaining strategic product roadmaps which support the successful industry adaption of our integration capability approach leveraging Broadridge, client and third party best in class solutions
• Collaboration with finance, marketing, development, technology and QA partners to ensure a successful, profitable product line
• Expanding our integration partner network to broaden our wealth capability offering and data set in collaboration with business, technology, QA, solutions, sales and marketing to increase sales and Professional Service revenue as well as increasing brand awareness
• Focusing on delivering superior client experiences while enabling clients to mitigate data risk
• Working with and influencing our business/technology partners and enterprise product management to ensure product alignment and a consistent client service experience.
• Building strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners in order to achieve financial and strategic goals of the North American Wealth business
• Understanding revenue and expense management for your product set in terms of delivering new products and services
• Being a thought leadership in the wealth industry - business & technical product management; Documenting collateral content, FAQs, presentation content and white papers
• Driving regular reporting to provide transparency into strategy, product roadmap, timelines and financials
• Strong and compelling communication including being ambitious, proactive, collaborative, transparent and utilizing new communication media

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in managing innovative data and integration solutions;
• Bachelor's degree
• Knowledge of financial services, securities processing, asset management industry is preferred
• Experience with Agile methodology and API design best practices
• Strong leadership skills in product management, best-of-breed wealth solutions, technologies and digital best practices
• Hands-on experience creating strategy and business cases related to product management
• Strong product management experience in data and system integration from a business and technical perspective in support of our wealth strategy
• Experience and aptitude presenting strategies and solutions to senior executives, technology partners, and key stakeholders

• Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and driving to clarity
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
• Outstanding ability to think creatively and innovatively
• Motivated self-starter who is able to collaborate
• Team player with solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver effective oral and written communications
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Experience working in a global, cross-functional team is a plus
