Role Summary/Purpose:

This role will be responsible for developing strong working relationships with the client's store organization as well as leading a team of field sales managers who sell the benefits of both consumer and PRO credit programs to accomplish/exceed credit goals within an assigned regional area of the country. They hire, mentor, coach, counsel, co-travel and train field sales employees within that region.

Position to be based from a home office in the Southeast region of the US and requires significant travel.

Selected candidate must live a commutable distance for a major airport within this region.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of assigned field sales employees to ensure the execution of national and regional sales/marketing initiatives.
  • Responsible for increasing credit utilization across assigned regions.
  • Develop and implement strategies / tactics / "Best Practices" with sales team to drive credit program utilization.
  • Facilitate customer/client credit escalations within client territory
  • Implement systems management to utilize assigned sales personnel's time to increase usage, maximize client time, and keep expenses under budget.
  • Implement effective measurement and reward systems with assigned sales personnel.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments including marketing and operations to develop materials and systems to increase sales personnel productivity and client adoption and usage.
  • Hire, train, and develop talent of Field Sales Managers within region
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years relevant work experience in Sales Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of territory sales/marketing experience
  • People Management Experience
  • Ability to travel 75% of time including some overnight and weekend travel
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
  • Experience in salesforce

Desired Characteristics:

  • Spanish language fluency
  • Experience leading a geographically dispersed team or experience leading a field sales team
  • Strong Presentation skills to large audiences
  • Professional selling skills with emphasis on motivating others to take action
  • Private label credit experience
  • Strong business / industry acumen in Home Improvement or Construction industry
  • Excellent negotiation and client relationship skills along with exceptional interpersonal communication skills

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 85,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
