Position Title: Vice President, Sales
Reporting To: Chief Growth Officer
Compensation Range: $125,000 base plus significant opportunity for commission, with bonus plan during initial 1-2 year ramp

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a dynamic and collaborative seasoned sales professional to join the Well Sales & Growth Team to help expand Well’s membership base by cultivating relationships with benefits leaders and benefits consultants and winning new, large and jumbo B2B customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage your existing network and relationships to work with benefits professionals within target companies to incorporate Well into their employee benefits offerings
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to our overall growth strategy, partnering with the Chief Growth Officer and other members of the Sales & Growth Team to evolve our strategic go to market approach
  • Expand Well’s customer base by selling throughout your assigned territory and/or industry verticals
  • Cultivate a robust pipeline of prospects, starting with true prospecting and manage and own the entire sales process through closing the deal
  • Identify opportunities for Well to expand the reach with current customers, in partnership with with the client management team, to expand the service footprint across existing enterprise customers
  • Serve as a senior voice to codify and share “voice of the market” feedback to help inform future roadmap and business strategy priorities for the company
  • Focus on process improvements that continue to improve our sales cycle and frameworks
  • Establish and further productive working relationships with key benefits consultants in partnership with the Consultant Relations team 
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and diligence in tracking / recording all work activities to ensure accurate forecasting
  • Represent Well’s culture and passion for enabling better health in all business dealings
  • Travel as necessary

Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years of sales experience
  • Demonstrable track record of successfully selling into large enterprise customers
  • Solid knowledge of healthcare benefits landscape and evolution
  • Proven relationship building ability; you like building and finding win-win agreements
  • Proven ability to leverage market experts to forge relationships with target customers
  • Track record of consistently meeting / exceeding yearly quotas in the enterprise segment
  • Successful experience working with decision-makers at the highest levels within organizations
  • Experience successfully selling complex products / services with long sales cycles
  • Consultative approach to sales (understanding pain-points of customers and addressing their needs through solutions selling)
  • Solid understanding of customer and revenue generation
  • Reference-able enterprise customers
