About the Role:
GoodRx is looking to bring on a VP of Sales for our newly formed New Business sales team reporting directly to the SVP of New Business. You will be responsible for bringing on board new clients, as well as closing large enterprise and partnership deals. You will work closely with the SVP of New Business and VP of Sales to manage every stage of the sales process, from finding new opportunities, to executing contracts, and supporting the account management function. We aim to give autonomy to this role, allowing you to manage your own opportunities, while concurrently providing enough support and guidance to close deals with large order value deals.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and grows business relationships with current and prospective pharmaceutical clients
- Continually assesses revenue potential of territory through analysis of the overall market, supports corporate goals, pipeline outlook and general industry intelligence in order to provide accurate sales forecasts
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop effective proposals
- Provides leadership with regular updates on sales-focused activities including lead generation, competitive intelligence, and product opportunities
- Keeps abreast of market conditions, competitive activities, technological trends through ongoing research and engagement at industry and medical conferences, literature reviews and other sources
- Find, develop and close opportunities
- Responsible for outreach to generate new business
- Handle the inbound leads and manage the full sales cycle
- Work closely with team to close agreements
- Help manage and maintain the accounts once the deals are closed, looking for upsell and cross sell opportunities
Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of highly verticalized B2B sales focusing on pharmaceutical companies and related media companies, and a college degree
- Deep understanding of access and affordability for Pharma brands and experience selling direct to pharmaceutical manufacturers and digital agencies
- Knowledge of customer and reporting requirements
- Excellent cross-functional working skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Must be willing and able to travel frequently, and sometimes with short notice

The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors.
