We are looking for an experienced Vice President of Sales & BD to help manage and expand relationships with our key customer accounts, which are some of the leading global consumer electronics companies, while managing a growing customer pipeline, and building new customer opportunities. The role will be responsible for managing and leading the annual and quarterly sales forecast, account management and planning, and participating as a key member of the executive team. This role reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and grow strategic relationships with key customers
  • Work closely with team members, including product development, application engineering, and manufacturing & engineering, to meet customer requirements and expectations
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop annual sales goals and meet Board approved targets for profitable revenue. Present at Board and investor meetings
  • Coordinates with Asia sales team and support Asian customers as needed
  • Participate in managing distributors throughout Asia and other indirect sales channels
  • Attend domestic and international tradeshows
  • Participate in development of the marketing strategy and product introduction campaigns
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer updates and reports

 

Education & Experience Desired:

  • Bachelor of Science is required, in Chemistry or relevant field is a plus.
  • 10 + years of strategic account management/sales experience in a business-to-business environment.
  • Previous experience in the Manufacturing industry is required. Chemicals industry experience is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a rapid growth, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong communication, leadership, general business and skills
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to travel 30%+ of the time.
