Job Summary
The Head of Sales Engagement will have responsibility for the strategy and execution of Altice USA's Optimum brand sales operations. By partnering with B2C and B2Bsales leadership teams in supporting and driving profitable revenue and subscriber growth. This leader will be responsible for identifying strategies to drive team engagement within the consumer and business segments across the Optimum footprint. This leader will report to the SVP Sales Operations & Engagement. This leader will be creative, and transformation oriented with a strong sense of urgency, perseverance, and open mindedness to lead and drive change. This will be a visionary leader capable of leading the sales engagement strategy to ensure our agents across all channels are prepared and motivated to drive the highest levels of performance.
Responsibilities
- Identify and drive areas of engagement through rewards and recognition of the sales workforce, including but not limited to running "president's club"
- In partnership with corporate communications, own the localized strategy and implementation for sales communications
- Drive financial impact by partnering with key leaders to understand areas of improvement and identify ways to activate educational resources such as scripted huddles, enhancing tools, regular touchpoints, coaching and more.
- Support sales leadership in ensuring performance goals are met and both performance improvement and/or development goals are identified and managed.
- Set the tone for sales communication and cultivate an emotional connection across the organization that will retain and reward top performers and drive company performance
- Develop a high-performing and winning sales culture that motivates and inspires teams to exceed business objectives.
- Lead sales readiness and change management plans for key business initiatives ensuring our sales teams are fully equipped to generate profitable sales and a great customer experience
- Leverage cutting-edge techniques and practices to build a world-class sales organization, partnering cross-functionally to transform the rep experience from recruiting and onboarding to performance management and ongoing development.
- Leverage data to drive strategies around attrition, commission plans, recognition programs, etc that will foster a high performing sales culture, drive the right rep behaviors, and return for the organization
Qualifications
- BA required/MA or MBA preferred
- Ability to regularly be present in one of three core locations - Altice USA Headquarters in Long Island City, NY, or core locations in Piscataway, NJ and Bethpage, NY,
- Willing to travel up to 25% to be regularly present in the Optimum field across 21 states
- Sales or Sales Operations of similar scale and scope. Experience leading teams of 50+ people.
- Leadership experience in residential broadband, B2C mobile, or similar business is preferred
- 10+ years of sales or sales operations leadership and/or business performance transformation with a proven track record of consistent delivery against business plans and targets
- Strong stakeholder partnership across key leadership roles including but not limited to regional engagement, field operations, product, marketing, go-to-market strategy and CX
- Proven experience building a winning sales culture
- Experience managing across a diverse and highly distributed footprint strongly preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate across HR, product, operations, and marketing teams to drive transformation and cultural change
- Excels at engaging teams around aggressive goals and implementing creative strategies to deliver results.
- Demonstrates influential leadership with authentic motivation capabilities, and proven ability to successfully manage through transformation and change

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $200,000.00 - $237,500.00 / year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
