Position Overview
The Vice President, Corporate Controller is a highly visible role that will be responsible for leading the organization's accounting, financial reporting, and internal control functions. You will have the opportunity to lead a global team of 6 Directors with oversight for 50+ reports promoting a high-performance culture across the enterprise. As an executive leader in the finance function, you will be instrumental in guiding standardization of financial processes, roll out of strategic initiatives and partnering with stakeholders to define optimal structures supporting the continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Create, promote, and sustain a high-performance team across project accounting (COE), divesture/acquisition, treasury, internal controls, and corporate accounting, continuously raising the performance bar for the finance organization.
- Oversee external and internal reporting requirements, preparation of financial results, including corporate accounting policies, and external audit oversight.
- Ensure internal controls are in compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley, and Corporate Policy and Ethics Requirements.
- Lead initiatives as part of enterprise-wide finance transformation
- Support strategic projects such as restructuring, M&A activities, system implementations and other ad-hoc projects
- Drive and deploy standardization, simplification, and automation of financial processes
- Set direction and key priorities to achieve growth.
- Maintain high level of ethical standards and identify and analyze problem areas and recommend appropriate course of action.
Qualifications and Experience
- 15+ years progressive experience within a finance or accounting function, with 5+ years leading a team of people managers.
- Experience driving finance transformation related initiatives, in a global, highly matrix environment.
- Record of accomplishment in leading financial operations for a growth oriented, industry leader to achieve their fiscal objectives.
- Experience in a comparable size/scope, dynamic multinational manufacturing environment with multiple locations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements with proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and/or Finance from an accredited institution, (Master's degree or CPA/CMA Preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $218,025.00 - $ 319,770.00 a year.
