Entrata is in search of an exceptionally talented and experienced professional to assume the role of Vice President of Information Security. This leadership position entails safeguarding our software and systems against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will be tasked with devising and executing a comprehensive security strategy while overseeing a team of seasoned security professionals.
As the Vice President of Information Security, you will be a pivotal figure within our organization, entrusted with shaping and implementing our overarching application security strategy. In this capacity, you will work closely with the senior leadership team and key stakeholders across the organization to ensure the security and integrity of our software and systems. You will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies to fortify our organization against cyber threats. This is a role of considerable visibility that necessitates a dynamic leader with profound expertise in application security and the capacity to think strategically and act decisively.
Responsibilities will include
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive security strategy to shield our software and systems from cyber threats.
- Supervise the management and deployment of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
- Mentor and lead a team of security professionals, offering guidance and direction as required.
- Remain abreast of the latest security trends and threats, adjusting the security strategy as necessary.
- Collaborate with various departments, such as IT and Development, to guarantee the security of our systems and software.
- Interface with external partners and vendors to ensure the security of our systems and software.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for security incidents and breaches, spearheading the incident response team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Profound knowledge of security technologies and best practices.
- Experience with security compliance frameworks, including SOC 2, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other relevant security certifications.
- Experience working in a SaaS or cloud-based environment.Familiarity with threat intelligence and incident response.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, such as SOC2 and PCI-DSS.Expertise in cloud security technologies and best practices, such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Profound comprehension of software development methodologies and practices.
- Strong understanding of network security and network architecture.Proven experience in leading incident response and business continuity planning.
- Adept in security automation and orchestration tools.
