TITLE: VP, Senior Analyst

LOCATION: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007

DUTIES: Monitor a portfolio of technology, media and telecommunications companies as a member of the Technology, Media and Telecommunications team. Perform credit analysis of companies covering management strategy, operations, competitive environment, and business risk. Assess liquidity risk, capital, and corporate structures and ESG risks. Provide initial rating recommendations for new issuers, as well as recommend changes to ratings of existing issuers to a rating committee. Publish written opinions for companies on a timely and regular basis. Write more detailed company research, related industry research and industry outlooks. Manage assigned issuer relationships and engage in outreach meetings with investors and intermediaries. Mentor the junior support analysts. Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time. Destination and frequency impossible to predict.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in credit analysis at a financial services, credit ratings, or related agency/organization. Must have at least five (5) years of experience with the following: assessing complex corporate and capital structures and interpreting legal documents; working effectively with senior level executives (CEO, CFO, Treasurer); preparing projection models and performing analysis of financial statements; performing analysis of companies and industry trends in the technology/media/telco; and managing relationships with issuers, investors, and intermediaries. Domestic travel required approximately 10% of the time. Destination and frequency impossible to predict.

SALARY: $161,429 to $271,050/year

HOURS: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday)

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $161,429 to $271,050, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
