VP (Snr Java Dev) - CTO EA - Process Re-engineering - PUNE
Job Description
The Process Reengineering group within the CTO organization designs, delivers solutions and processes across multiple enterprise partners to enhance, automated and transform our core technology processes. This new function has been established to leverage skillsets of experienced engineers to proactively drive Citi’s transformation by unlocking value from Citi’s enterprise technology processes.Â
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Analyst Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in development and solutions architecture with a proven track record of delivering innovative technical solutions in a corporate setting. You will be actively involved in engagement with technical partners as well as core development and deployment activities where you will deliver solutions to improve automation as part of wider process re-engineering.
ResponsibilitiesÂ

Delivery of modern, robust technical solutions, sometimes across multiple concurrent projectsÂ
-
Producing architecture/designs, code and technical work to align with function mission, including but not limited to POCs and full component delivery integrated with multiple systems across the firm

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technology and business stakeholders to define architectural and technical deliverables, sometimes within the constraints of existing platformsÂ

Work with team lead to ensure utilization of best practices, methodologies, and tools available for modern technology deliveryÂ
-
Engage with technical input to transforming enterprise wide problemsÂ
-
Stay-up-to-date with the latest developments in DevOps and testing technologies for potential adoptionÂ
-
Close partnership with London based leadership and Scrum master/Delivery manager to ensure transparency for all technical team deliverables as well as local dev lead

Engage and influence peer technical partners to fulfill technical deliveryÂ
Experience/Qualifications:Â
-
10+ years of relevant experience in as senior analyst developer or equivalent roleÂ
-
Significant Java with Springboot and other modern Java frameworks development experienceÂ
-
Demonstrated excellent analytical skills and advanced knowledge of software architectureÂ
-
Experience of, but not necessarily coding, other modern languages, including but not limited to Kotlin, Python, .Net, shell scripting, C++, RÂ
-
 Modern micro-service architecture and development and deployment practices: OpenShift/Kubernetes, Kakfamessaging, RESTful services, Helm, Hashicorp Vault, DevOps, SecOpsÂ
-
Relational and non-relational/no SQL DBs : SQL, Oracle, MongoDBÂ

Demonstrated functional knowledge of SOLID methodology and OO design and SME in applications architecture and designÂ

Experience of modern production observability/monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana, ELK stackÂ

Experience of working corporate and enterprise environmentÂ

Demonstrated leadership, communication, project management, and development skills, working with remote leadersÂ

Minimal 5 years related International working experience, consignment and secondmentÂ
Education:Â

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceÂ

Master’s degree preferredÂ
