VP, Solutions Consulting
Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Vice President, Solutions Consulting to champion customer engagement to oversee our software implementation projects, including solutioning and project management. The successful candidate will have extensive experience leading software implementation projects and managing teams of Solution Architects, Implementation Managers, and Project Managers. They will be responsible for ensuring that software implementation projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Sales team to identify and understand prospective client needs, help qualify those prospective customers against the Datex solution, and develop customized solutions to meet those needs.
- Refine and scale core Sales Engineering processes, such as discovery, technical qualification, custom demos, workshops, RFP/ RFQ process and proof-of-concepts. Participate in the RFP / RFQ process for large and strategic deals.
- Proven experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, and Customer Support.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure high-quality execution and continuous feedback on customer retention and new business strategy effectiveness.
- Possess a high tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to create structure and execution plans where there may be none while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven strong EQ, positive energy, and organization savviness. Ability to influence C-level decision-making.
- Provide strategic guidance to management and product team for prioritizing product investments for the U.S market to maximize opportunities and return on investment and create differentiators for the product.
- Lead the software implementation team in developing, maintaining, and executing proper project documentation and budgets, schedules, and plans required to ensure successful project delivery.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a Project Management Office (PMO) organization built upon industry best practices to support Customers, Partners and internal Datex initiatives.
- Monitor all active projects' progress and provide regular updates to senior management and clients. Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Develop and maintain a strong team culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Master's degree or bachelor's degree (combined with experience/leadership role) in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Solutioning, Software Implementation, and Project Management.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale software implementation projects and managing teams of Solution Architects, Implementation Managers, and Project Managers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to client sites and events.
