Role Summary/Purpose:
The Source-to-Pay (S2P) Customer Support / Project Management Leader role will be responsible for managing the project management (PMO), Communications and Training functions to support cross-functional teams across Source-to-Pay. This role will lead many cross-functional initiatives that will drive efficiencies and compliance while enhancing the customer experience. This role will have broad exposure across Procure-to-Pay, Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contracts Management, Finance, Information Security, Information Technology, Operations across Synchrony.

Essential Responsibilities
Project Management (PMO)
- Collaborate with S2P leaders to define, prioritize, and develop the project pipeline
- Develop PMO Center of Excellence (COE) strategy that aligns to overall S2P goals
- Establish PMO organization structure and manage project requirements in line with project objectives
- Develop, implement, and govern project management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics
- Plan projects to include setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning resources to various deliverables
- Analyze financial information, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation to assess ROI and prioritization
- Provide and maintain capacity planning and resource tracking across multiple projects
- Provide S2P leadership with the information needed to assess and decide which proposals have the highest potential value, impact, and strategic alignment
- Manage a team of Project Managers to lead change management with the Source to Pay organization leadership to achieve business objectives
- Manage communications from the Source to Pay organization to SYF stakeholders, collaborate with Source to Pay leadership on training materials, training schedules and audience as related to change management.
- Coach and mentor PMO team members and share knowledge of best practices
- Develop documentation of PMO procedures and policies
- Oversight of project development to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Continuous project evaluation to ensure that compliance, efficiency, budgets, and deadlines are being met
- Ensure proper controls and change management processes are followed to maintain integrity of the Source to Pay processes managed in Coupa
- Manage change process for the Source to Pay organization with a team of Project Managers to achieve business objectives.
Communication / Training
- Centralize the communications, training, overall document management (RIM and policies/procedures), SharePoint/Team sites, Townhalls etc., and other change management requirements which support the Source to Pay organization
- Oversight of all internal and external communications to ensure consistency and standard compliance
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that enhance experiences and satisfaction
- Develop change management strategy for projects and initiatives
- Evaluate the impact of planned system/process changes
- Lead change management work streams with a structured methodology / process
- Supporting development of communications relevant to change initiatives
- Provide internal and external coaching and training at all levels
- Develop and maintain training content and materials to generate higher productivity
- Research new training methods to enhance procedures while providing value to employees
- Identify training to create a curriculum to facilitate future needs
- Lead and facilitate training programs to assist with technology or process transitions
- Continuously assess training needs for new and existing users
- Partner with development program owners (Finance Forward) to incorporate Source-to-Pay training needs
- Develop and conduct orientation programs and on-the-job training for new hires
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/ Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or in lieu of degree, 8 years relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years progressive financial management experience at a large global corporation
- Familiar with financial systems e.g. Coupa, Oracle, Ariba
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Project Management experience with demonstrated project management, process improvement, and process design skills in a complex environment

Grade/Level: 13
The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
- You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
- New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
