Role Summary/Purpose:

The VP, Source-to-Pay (S2P) Project Manager Leader role will be responsible for managing the full cycle program management process to support cross-functional teams across Source-to-Pay. This role will lead many cross-functional initiatives that will drive efficiencies and compliance while enhancing the customer experience. This role will have broad exposure across Procure-to-Pay, Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contracts Management, Finance, Information Security, Information Technology, Operations, and across Synchrony.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with S2P Leaders to define, prioritize, and develop a program pipeline in accordance with the goals of the S2P organization and our vendor's enhancement roadmap
  • Plan programs for prioritization by working closely with S2P Leaders to define their goals, understand Risk implications and identify impacted applications and resources
  • Provide S2P Leadership with the information needed to assess and decide which programs have the highest potential value, impact, and strategic alignment
  • Effectively communicate with Technical resources, cross-functional Stakeholders and all levels of S2P to ensure the solution is fit for its intended purpose
  • Ensure compliance with S2P Program Management processes and procedures regarding documentation, testing and approvals
  • Continuously evaluate program to ensure requirement compliance, process and program efficiency, budgets, and deadlines are being met
  • Ensure S2P Leaders have clear and transparent communication on program status, issues and decisions
  • I dentify, develop and promote enhancement requests for S2P by collaborating with Coupa and its user community
  • Coordinate communication and training needs, identify audience impacts, and implementation plan with the Change Management team
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and the governing of the S2P Program Management processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or finance or in lieu of degree, 8 years relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive Program Management experience at a large global corporation
  • Agile Certification or other Project Management certification

Desired Characteristics:

  • Familiar with financial systems e.g. Coupa, Oracle, Ariba
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Demonstrated project management, process improvement, and process-design skills in a complex environment
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence and make recommendations at multiple levels of the Organization
  • Ability to work independently in fast paced global environment with demonstrated ability to accomplish goals on complex, time sensitive projects
  • Communicates effectively at multiple levels of the organization in both verbal and written channels

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Some positions are bonus eligible.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
