What You’ll Do

The VP, Total Rewards & People Operations will have the incredible opportunity to create a vision and bring it to life at Authentic.  This is a unique time to join as we are growing and investing in our People & Culture strategy and building for the future.  In this newly-created role, you will:

  • Reimagine our compensation strategy, building off the compensation framework we currently have in place. You will introduce this model to leaders and leverage it in our annual review cycle, finding ways to align our core values with how we incentivize and reward our talent.
  • Ensure our Total Rewards strategy leverages compelling and equitable compensation and benefits programs that will attract and retain talent to align with the growing business.
  • Develop a payroll and benefits strategy to launch in 2025, bringing our payroll and benefits program in-house and designing it to mirror the values, demographics, and financial goals of the organization.
  • Assess our current People & Culture technology stack and partner with our team to build and implement a more robust HRIS and other systems/programs to support our P&C processes.
  • Manage our global expansion from a rewards, operations, systems and partner/vendor perspective.
  • Partner with finance and legal on the design and delivery of our options, focusing on the impact of the important component of our rewards strategy to recognize, incentivize, and retain our talent. Ensure compliance and governance obligations are met.
  • Develop a scorecard the leverages key data points and analytics to keep leaders abreast of our human capital, and identify insights that inform future decisions.
  • Develop strong relationships with leaders. Talent Acquisition, and the Business Partner team to understand the challenges and opportunities they face and design programs and processes to support them.
  • Research best practices, trends and new concepts through professional networks and events.
  • Ensure all programs are compliant. This includes management of all compliance filings, reports, and audits related to the administration of employee compensation programs either directly or through partners/vendors.
  • Partner with the finance team on planning and forecasting human capital expenses.
  • Manage the People & Culture operations team with an emphasis on development, mentorship and retention.
  • Serve as a member of the People & Culture leadership team, contributing to the overall People & Culture strategy and roadmap.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Total Rewards and People Operations leadership role.
  • The individual must be both strategic and hands-on in leading all facets of compensation, benefits, payroll, People & Culture technology, and people operations.
  • Must have knowledge of government regulations and filing/compliance requirements affecting employee compensation and benefits programs, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125, HIPAA and DOL requirements
  • The successful candidate will be proactive and innovative to ensure our rewards and people practices are competitive, drive business results, and enhance our culture.
  • Exceptionally organized and proactive with demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability maintain confidentiality on sensitive matters.
  • Excellent communication, with ability to bring disparate perspectives together towards common goals.
  • The ideal candidate is also passionate, creative, and intellectually curious.

Primary Location Salary Range:

$200,000 - $225,000
