Role Summary/Purpose:

This role is for a Product Owner with our Payment Hub program. The ideal candidate will have a strong Agile project management background with a focus on Treasury/ACH products and processes and proven track record of representing the business, partnering with a cross-functional project team, delivering projects on time and within budget.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert for owned product(s) with deep product expertise including but not limited to features, functionality and customer journey.
  • Execute and help develop the product roadmap. Manage, prioritize, and track implementation of features within the program backlog. Ensure work focuses on features with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy and aligns with enterprise goals and vision.
  • Collaborate with business owners to document current and future state processes, set product vision, identify business requirements and define acceptance criteria. Facilitate process mapping sessions as needed.
  • Actively collaborate with scrum teams to clarify business requirements, remove roadblocks and gain alignment around feature or product strategy.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing, set the quality standard for delivery and develop test plans. Participate in team agile ceremonies to validate quality, document testing outcomes and provide feedback to improve team processes.
  • Lead and execute change management strategies across the value chain including product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Align with critical partners such as Operations, Technology, Accounting, Compliance, Risk and audit and others to identify and document deliverables, dependencies, and risks.
  • Lead program updates and prepare program status updates
  • Support the research, analysis and business case development for new products or components including feasibility, costs, best practices, market capabilities and other impacts.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree OR in lieu of degree; high school diploma/GED and 6+ years of Project Management experience
  • 4+ years Project Management or Systems Analyst experience

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in Treasury/payment products
  • Experience in the banking/credit card industry
  • Experience with the Agile SAFe framework, acting in the Product Owner role
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and able to influence others and build consensus across varying business needs
  • Experience communicating moderate to complex ideas, issues and designs
  • Ability to synthesize disparate and/or complicated requirements into cohesive product features
  • Experience partnering with technical and functional teams to develop and sustain applications
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional, distributed team and virtual environment
  • Track record of creative problem solving, innovation and analytical thinking
  • High energy, self-motivated, with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • 3+ years of experience leading software development projects

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 85,000.00 - 170,000.00 USD Annual

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older
  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
