About the Role:
As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be a visionary leader responsible for shaping and executing the company's technology strategy. You will be pivotal in driving innovation, overseeing technical teams, and ensuring that our technology stack aligns with our business goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding their company's technological direction, enhancing our products, and optimizing their technical operations.

They are the first to create a real-time marketplace for the expanding intermodal freight segment of the shipping market that facilitates frictionless real-time interactions connecting Truckers and Customers to seamlessly haul intermodal loads throughout the United States

Responsibilities:
- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute the company's technology vision, strategies, and roadmaps in alignment with business objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Provide inspirational leadership to technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technology trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and advising on the adoption of emerging technologies.
- Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing technical teams, ensuring their growth and development.
- Product Enhancement: Collaborate closely with product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions, driving product enhancements and improvements.
- Architecture and Scalability: Architect and optimize systems for scalability, performance, and high availability, ensuring the robustness of our technical infrastructure.
- External Partnerships: Establish and manage strategic partnerships and relationships with technology vendors and external stakeholders.
- Data Strategy: Oversee data strategy, including data governance, analytics, and data-driven decision-making processes.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the security, compliance, and privacy of their technical systems and data.
- Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, allocating resources effectively to meet strategic goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally as a CTO or VP of Engineering.
- Strong background in software engineering, architecture, and technology stacks.
- Extensive experience with modern software development methodologies, tools, and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving technological innovation and business growth.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
