What you will do:
The Regional VRF Account Manager is responsible for all aspects and daily functions of their respective region's VRF activities. This position supports the vital business and product metrics required to meet the company goals and objectives. The position will develop a team in areas of development which include but are not limited to: sales; training; marketing; and application support.
How you will do it:
1. Hires, trains, and supervises regional sales support team.
2. Provides sales management and marketing for local sales channels.
3. Develops annual department budget and endures to deliver all achievements within agreed budget and time.
4. Develops and handles relationship with sales channels and enhances their development of VRF knowledge and focus.
5. Assists in driving the specification in the local market.
6. Ensures that all project information is inputted and regularly updated in CRM.
7. Responsible for regular updates of sales pipeline management.
8. Develops joint action plans in conjunction with branches, applied representatives, and distributors for planned growth in VRF.
9. Acts as an extension to the training department to train staff and sales channels with regularly scheduled activities.
10. Develops and recommends product positioning, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long term market share.
11. Prepares analysis of driven activity for management as well as prepares plan to overcome driven obstacles.
12. Establishes and maintains key relationships with influencers and strategic partners to increase market transparency.
13. Establishes JCI VRF presence at key local associations such as (ACCA, ASHRAE, MCCA, HARDI).
14. Responsible for coordinating all local VRF related events including trade shows and engineering seminars.
What we look for:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably engineering or engineering technology.
• Critical thinking and problem solving of technical problems.
• Outstanding social skills.
• Proficiency in handling multi-task projects.
Preferred:
• MA/MS degree a plus.
• Engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years HVAC or industrial experience.
• 3+ years directly VRF experience.
• Technical experience with BMS/BAS, LonWorks, BACnet, and networking a plus.
• P.E. license a plus.
• LEED A.P. and CEM accreditation a plus.
• Experience with Japanese culture is a plus.
