We are seeking a high-energy, motivated sales professional to promote innovative solutions to current and potential customers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of maintaining and generating relationships with National & Strategic Accounts within vertical markets, such as, hospitality, K-12, institutional, higher education, MRO, senior care facilities, property development, retail, and agriculture. The candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sales and marketing programs to achieve VRF sales goals of strategic & national accounts. Must demonstrate an ability to transform relationships into a partnership that leads to a financial win-win for the company and customers. Ability to maintain, develop and execute strategic account plans and identify key market segments and customers in each segment to grow the business.

This role may sit anywhere in the US near a major airport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for commercial VRF product sales and growth
  • Recognized as a leading expert on VRF Products be capable of advising on VRF design, application, and code requirements
  • Build consultative relationships and trust with Vertical Market teams, Vertical Market Influencers, Distributors, Direct Sales Offices (DSOs), and Reps to ensure growth
  • Responsible for compiling competitive product and pricing data relative to job quotes and market pricing
  • Achieve Basis of Design thorough collaboration with specifying engineers
  • Identify product gaps, develop solutions to minimize the impact, and work with the collaboration teams to prioritize and eliminate gaps
  • Up to 60% Travel

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of HVAC industry experience in a professional sales or marketing position
  • Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledgeable about VRF and Ductless products (operation, design guidelines, accessories)
  • Thorough knowledge of commercial building industry practices
  • Experience working with engineering firms, property developers, global hospitality organizations, direct sales offices, architectural firms, higher education, K-12, and franchised organizations.
  • Thorough understanding of marketplace dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitor's programs
  • Comfort working remotely but able to use technology to stay connected and work closely with a strong team.
