About This Role:

The Wage and Tax Payment Manager will oversee and supervise the organization’s in-house payroll processing functions, ensuring pay and tax reporting is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. Accra has four payroll tax entities and one household employer tax entity with over 5000 EINs. Accra processes over 12,000 employees bi-weekly. The Wage and Tax Payment Manager will oversee timely filings for bi-weekly, quarterly, and annual payroll taxes (941, State Withholding, W-2, etc.). This position will partner with the Controller on financial practices and reporting. 

About You:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, and/or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional).
• 5 to 10 years of related experience working as a Payroll Administrator and/or Payroll Tax Accountant.
• 5 to 10 years of supervisor experience.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
