Warehouse & Facilities Assistant

ON A TYPICAL DAY YOU’LL

• Maintain a safe, neat, clean, and organized warehouse and workplace environment that is effective and efficient; consistently monitor the facility and address needs throughout the shift
• Order supplies as assigned or requested in a timely manner
• Receive, unload, sort, count, and stock incoming inventory, materials, and supplies efficiently and in the proper location
• Process incoming mail and prepare and ship outgoing packages and materials as needed 
• Maintain fleet by performing regular vehicle status checks, arranging and executing service appointments, scheduling and tracking maintenance requests, and conducting regular exterior washes and other needs as required
• Ensure DMV registrations and required inspections are completed in a timely manner and insurance is up-to-date; research, track and process DMV and DOT related correspondence; coordinate with other stakeholders as needed
• Update and maintain fleet maintenance tracker and help ensure accuracy
• Act as the first point of contact for guests and employees
• Monitor, track and maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system and ensure inventory movement is adequately captured to ensure accuracy
• Ensure warehouse facility equipment and systems are operational and maintained; initiate service when needed
• Interface with vendors, suppliers, and transport companies as required
• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times; escalate emergency, health, safety, and security issues promptly
• Submit purchase requisitions where needed and follow expense tracking processes
• Ensure pantry and office supplies are regularly stocked; manage printer/copier machine and escalate to People-Tech when appropriate
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes by assisting with the distribution and retrieval of equipment and materials
• Assist with planning and set up for all company and site-specific meetings and events; including ordering food, and rearranging the space
• Assist construction management and People Operations teams with ad hoc projects as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Must have a valid driver's license 
• 1-3 years of warehouse or facilities-related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proactive self-starter with a strong ability to multitask and commitment to quality execution
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Diligence in the ability to prioritize safety and security in their day-to-day work activities
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering a great customer and employee experience
• Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
• Demonstrated technical acumen with specific proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively within and across teams in a dynamic, rapidly changing workplace
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, skyjack, pallet jack, hand truck, and other warehouse equipment; use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around; maintain proper certification where required
• General maintenance repair experience a plus
• Capable of lifting up to 75lbs 
• Able to stand, sit, push, pull, bend, squat, walk, reach and climb as required during shifts
• Flexibility to work outside typical working hours including weekends when required
