JOB DESCRIPTION

The Paris Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) is one of three Canadian PDCs that receives and distributes thousands of automotive service parts to our dealers across Canada, and is an integral part of the Ford Motor Company organization.

Work Location: Paris, ON

Shift: Afternoon-Shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports the direct supervision team for afternoon shift employees
• Assist with material flow duties and special assignments including new process implementation and operations analysis.
• Record daily timekeeping/payroll data and other administrative needs.
• Conduct daily communication meetings with employees.
• Candidates must have a strong organizational, analytical, and Excel skills

• Safety Conscious and Process disciplined
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Planning and organizing skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage competing priorities
• Excellent demonstrated communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident while working independently
• Must be proficient in MSOffice applications, including Excel.
• Previous warehouse process or order fulfillment process experience in an asset.
• Interest in the automotive and/or material planning and logistics Industry
• Applicant must be available to work variable shifts during this assignment with short notice
• Must be a current full-time post-secondary student, preferably in process engineering, business, or materials management studies and returning to school in September
