Waterjet- Laser Operator

About Us: Job Description Our custom fabrication company needs an experienced Waterjet- Laser Operator to join our team. We’re looking for a hardworking energetic professional who enjoys meeting challenges and surpassing customer expectations. Seeking a full-time candidate for the day shift, Monday thru Friday withoccasional overtime as needed. Key Skills and Competencies: • One (1) year experience operating CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet. • Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, indicators, and tape measures. • Advanced knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions. • Adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Responsibilities and Accountabilities. • Verify material sizes and maintaining inventory control. • Revise programs and documentation based engineering changes. • Maintain library of programs. • Studies and interprets drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements to maximize efficiencies. • Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues. • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. • Compensation: $20.00-$24.00 Per Hour Depending on Experience • Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $41,600.00 - $49,920.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
