Job Summary

General Purpose:

Responsible for the set-up and operation of a wave solder machine for soldering within the process. Adjusts the speed, temperature and makes other adjustments to accommodate varying types and sizes of products.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Sets up and operates a wave solder machine.

• Operates finger cleaner pump, conveyor and IR pre-heaters.

• Troubleshoots problem areas.

• Runs product.

• Provides preventative and daily /weekly maintenance.

• Operates all machine functions, e.g. fluxer, hot air knife, conveyor and pre-heaters.

• Identifies defects and enters data to shop floor control system.

• May clean dross out of solder pot.
