Job Description

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Weapon System Cybersecurity Engineer, located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

Responsibilities Include:

  • The Contractor shall assist CROWS Mission Risk Analysis Leadership and staff by serving as a Technical Project Manager for MRAT supporting any combination of the Vulnerability Aggregation Team (VAT), ReBL, and Crowdsourcing projects.
  • The Contractor shall provide Cyber Security / Resiliency expertise and recommendations to the MRAT Lead relating to VAT, ReBL and Crowdsourcing project activities to include, but not limited to tracking, reporting, managing, resolving, mitigating Risks, Issues, and Opportunities
  • The Contractor shall ensure MRAT, VAT, ReBL and Crowdsourcing schedules, budgets, and supporting documentation are defendable and support CROWS MRAT and HHQ (SAF AQR) priorities.
  • The Contractor shall work with MRAT and team members to establish, refine and execute CROWS / MRAT priorities.
  • The Contractor shall perform technical project management duties in support of establishment and execution of the VAT, ReBL and Crowdsourcing activities.
  • The Contractor shall have a current understanding of DoD acquisition processes to ensure timely and synchronized schedule integration of cybersecurity requirements into program schedules and milestones through various acquisition program Integrated Product Teams.
  • The Contractor shall collaborate with MRAT Management, Team Leads and extended team to prepare for other scheduled and impromptu periodic internal and externally focused meetings e.g., Program Management Reviews, CROWS Working Group Meetings, CRSGs, etc.
  • The Contractor shall assist with DoD and AF program/project analysis including the planning and organizing of program/project activities, as required.
  • The Contractor shall assist with technical work related to program management to include planning, organizing, and presenting assessments of program/project management concepts, analyses, studies, and procedures.
  • The Contractor shall gather, collect, prepare and support requirements development and capture actions associated with the VAT, ReBL, Crowdsourcing and any other MRAT activities/projects as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Technical Experience Required:

  • Must be a US citizen
  • The Contractor shall possess a current, within the last five (5) years, a Top Secret with SCI eligible access Regardless of clearance level, the Contractor shall maintain the clearance throughout the contract period of performance to provide support for multiple tasks and meetings at various classification levels.
  • A Senior labor category has over 10 years of experience and a MA/MS degree, or Bachelors Degree and 15 years experience.
  • The Contractor shall possess a DoD 8570.01-Manual Level II Information Assurance Management (IAM) or higher certification
  • The Contractor will have five+ years of direct experience with DoD weapon systems (highly desired)
  • The Contractor will have PMP and CISSP certification (desired)
  • A Senior labor category typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
  • A Senior labor category may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
