Job Description

Position Overview: Cognitive Medical Systems is looking for an experienced Web Application/Mobile Developer with a strong background in building mobile applications and successfully navigating the approval processes for major app stores such as the Apple App Store and Google Play. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Power Platform and a proven track record of developing high-quality, user-friendly mobile applications in the healthcare or related industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using the Power Platform and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design user interfaces, and implement features that meet user needs and business objectives.
  • Ensure the quality, performance, and security of mobile applications through rigorous testing and code reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development, user experience design, and app store guidelines.
  • Work closely with the regulatory affairs team to navigate the approval processes for app stores, including submission, review, and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in mobile app development, with a focus on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Proficiency in building mobile applications using the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and other relevant development tools and frameworks (e.g., Xamarin, Cordova, Bubblewrap).
  • Strong understanding of mobile app design principles, user interface guidelines, and best practices.
  • Experience with app store submission processes and guidelines, including familiarity with Apple App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and other relevant platforms.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
