Web Application Tester

Savan is seeking a skilled Web Application Tester with 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have experience with Selenium, Scrum, and Agile development methodologies, and a proven track record of ensuring the quality and functionality of web applications.
Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Conduct manual testing, identifying and documenting defects.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Perform regression testing and ensure standards are met.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and Agile processes.
• Report and track defects using issue-tracking tools.
• Develop testing plan.
• Develop user acceptance tests.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related degree
• 3+ years of experience in software testing for web applications.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and automated test scripts.
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with manual testing and issue-tracking tools like JIRA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• U.S. citizenship
• Active Public Trust or ability to obtain a Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with performance and security testing.
