Role Snapshot
This role coordinates web/portal updates to ensure healthcare providers are well-informed of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) updates. This is done by proofreading, editing, formatting, and confirming web content meets governance for web/digital content in collaboration with content owners. Content may include written articles, graphs, photos, or videos. In addition, this role will:

$17.25 per hour to $34.75 per hour based on county Service Contract Act (SCA) rates
Work Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Central Standard Time with overtime as needed.

This role is open to remote work for this opportunity in the following approved states:
Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin
To help strengthen communication, provide a sense of community, and improve the overall remote work experience, the assigned office community based on the position's division is: GHA, Omaha, Nebraska.

Role Snapshot
This role coordinates web/portal updates to ensure healthcare providers are well-informed of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) updates. This is done by proofreading, editing, formatting, and confirming web content meets governance for web/digital content in collaboration with content owners. Content may include written articles, graphs, photos, or videos. In addition, this role will:
- Keep web content fresh by determining which content may need to be removed or updated on websites
- Review website feedback and communicate trends to our internal stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Business, or related field OR equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience
- Professional experience as writer, editor, or proofreader
- Incredibly high attention to detail
- Familiar with Medical Terminology
- Strong knowledge of web standards, specifically, Section 508 compliance standards
- Experience with workflow management tools or a process management system (e.g. Hyland Onbase)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro, email marketing software (e.g. Constant Contact, Mailchimp)
