Web Content Manager

We are looking for an experienced Website Content Manager to join our corporate communications team. If you love creating high-quality, engaging website content and driving business success, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the team's digital content strategy to support business goals and objectives
• Create and manage engaging web content that aligns with Applied's brand strategy, can be used globally and ensures understanding and amplification of corporate key messages
• Advise content creators and creative teams on understanding best practices and testing for web copywriting
• Ensure keywords and metadata are incorporated into the content strategy
• Provide proactive recommendations on website strategies such as pillar content
• Collaborate with web colleagues to audit and identify ways to optimize web content to improve traffic, engagement and conversion
• Partner with the web team on research to understand visitor needs and align content plans with the web roadmap and maintenance schedule
• Work closely with social and web teams to coordinate content activation according to the campaign plan
• Remain current on competitor sites, content strategy innovations, best practices, tools and techniques
• Provide insight and document best practices to contribute to group knowledge and innovation
• Maintain web editorial/design calendar
• Maintain a solid understanding of Applied's business strategy and key messages
• Ensure all content supports brand identity and editorial style guides

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of experience creating and managing content strategy
• Exceptional writing skills and experience writing for the web
• Strong communications skills
• Critical thinker and problem solver
• Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
• Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
• Knowledge and experience with content management systems (AEM a plus)
• Understanding of Adobe analytics and other web metric tools
• Experience with SEO and a solid understanding of digital marketing best practices
• BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
• Semiconductor industry experience a plus

U.S. Salary Range:

$156,000.00 - $214,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
