As a Web Designer, you will play a key role in creating visually engaging and intuitive websites that align with our clients' branding and user experience goals. Working closely with federal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for the entire web design process, from concept development to the final implementation. Your creative flair, technical skills, and eye for detail will be instrumental in crafting websites that leave a lasting impact for federal agency customers.

What you’ll do: 

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and target audience.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design concepts and user interactions.
• Create visually stunning and user-friendly website designs that align with clients' branding and style guidelines.
• Ensure responsive design, optimal performance, and cross-browser compatibility across all devices.
• Work closely with the development team to provide design assets and implement the final design.
• Conduct design reviews and gather feedback from clients and team members.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies.
• Optimize assets to ensure fast loading times and optimal performance.
• Conduct usability testing to gather user feedback and iterate on design improvements.
• Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• A professional portfolio and 5+ years of experience as a Web Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your web design projects.
• Proficiency in design software, such as Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first design approach.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to effectively communicate with developers.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs to meet client expectations.
• Familiarity with user centered design principles is a plus.
• Experience with web design frameworks and libraries is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices is desirable.
