Web Designer

PLS Logistics is looking for a highly creative and experienced Web Designer with a strong understanding of SEO principles. The ideal candidate should have a passion for designing visually appealing and user-friendly websites, as well as the ability to optimize them for search engines. 

Schedule: This role will be based in Cranberry Township, PA and will be in-person Monday thru Friday.

More on what you’ll do: 

• Design and develop engaging, responsive websites that meet client needs and expectations 

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups 

• Implement design and coding standards to ensure website accessibility and cross-browser compatibility 

• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability through regular audits and optimization 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends and SEO best practices to continuously improve website functionality and user experience 

• Utilize analytics tools to track website traffic, identify areas for improvement, and measure the impact of SEO efforts 

• Work with copywriters, marketers, and other team members to create high-quality content that aligns with the website's goals and objectives 

• Provide ongoing website maintenance and technical support to ensure seamless operations and timely resolution of any issues 

Exceptional candidates will have: 

• Proven experience as a Web Site Designer with a strong portfolio of work 

• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies 

• Understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to create accessible and user-friendly websites 

• Strong familiarity with SEO principles and techniques, including keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and analytics 

• Experience with popular content management systems, such as WordPress, and e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
