Web Developer

NOTE: This is a FULLY remote role but the candidate must be in North or South America to collaborate with their team peers and internal customers. Please only apply if you are physically based in North or South America.

Hostaway is looking for an experienced Web Developer to build improve and maintain our website and related assets. This position will report to the VP of Marketing.

Your Mission:

• Develop new website-related code and refactor existing pages

• Validate developed website content and analyze data to monitor quality security user interface experiences and to identify areas for improvement.

• Develop and implement procedures for ongoing Website revision

• Participate in Website architecture and design in collaboration with designers to deliver a fully responsive website solution

• Conceptualize and execute A/B tests to improve conversion rates user behavior and achieve business goals

• Design and edit website content in collaboration with the content team

• Design and create high-converting landing pages

• Implement third-party solution integrations

• Evaluate written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all targeted devices

• Maintain a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in study groups

• Accomplish company goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests

• Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products

• You have at least 3 to 5 years of web development experience preferably at a B2B SaaS and/or startup

• You developed and maintained professional modern amazing-looking responsive websites for successful companies - you are able to provide concrete example (we hold the right to contact the companies to get feedback about your work).

• Expert in various coding languages including HTML CSS Javascript and React (Styled Components)

• Very nice to have experience: Gatsby GraphQL

• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) Contentful

• Understands UI cross-browser compatibility and general web functions and standards

• Experience in using a full stack of marketing tools including Hubspot Unbounce Google Analytics SEMRush Moz etc.

• Strong analytical skills
