Web Developer (Contractor)

We’re looking for a web developer with experience working in a digital marketing agency environment. The web developer’s key role is completing front-end implementations. This will include configuring CMS backend editors, editing and creating stylesheets, editing HTML structure, implementing JavaScript, implementing server-side code for templates, and completing content editing in content management systems.

The web development department has 3 main functions at Digital Reach Agency:

1. Building websites
2. Maintaining and scaling websites
3. Supporting other Digital Reach Agency departments with technical implementations.

Developers Responsibilities:

• Complete needed HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript implementations to create an optimal experience for frontend users
• Complete content editing and data entry needed for projects and tasks
• Collaborate with our creative department to ensure the technical feasibility of designs
• Collaborate with our creative department to efficiently and effectively translate designs into working code

Your experience:

• 5+ years of experience Familiarity with WordPress and other PHP-based CMS solutions
• 5+ years of experience with JS, JQuery, CSS, SASS, AJAX, HTML, PHP
• 3+ years of front-end web development experience.
• Experience with React Frameworks, specifically Gatsby
• Experience with GIT and variation control
• Experience with preprocessors like gulp, grunt, and SASS
• Good written and verbal communication abilities

Compensation:

$70 per hour
